60 ANNIVERSARY SALONE DEL MOBILE

For the 60th anniversary of Salone del Mobile, we were commissioned to design an exhibition celebrating the evolution of this iconic design institution through an immersive journey across a series of decade-inspired rooms, while also developing all the video content for the installations. Set within the historic Palazzo Dugnani in the heart of Milan, each environment captured the cultural atmosphere and aesthetic language of its respective era. Through animated graphics and immersive storytelling, we reinterpreted the legacy of past editions of Salone del Mobile within a contemporary visual framework. The exhibition combined video walls, LED totems, gobo lighting, and projections to create a layered and dynamic experience. For the occasion, we also produced an original short film retracing the history of Salone del Mobile through archival materials and previously unseen footage from Milan’s design scene of the 1960s, offering visitors an intimate and cinematic perspective on the origins of what would become one of the world’s leading design events.
